BARANGAY LOOK 1ST
Look 1st. Simultaneously with the flow of the river Taguid goes the history of the barrio Look 1st , Malolos, Bulacan. The narrow, roads and alleys, which during the rainy season \ is muddy, are now concrete roads. This place is surrounded by 365 households with 2004 residents. Agriculture is the main source of their livelihood. Others earn their income by harvesting palay during the harvest season in its vast fertile lands. Some also are employed as construction workers in nearby barrios, others also, have the luck of being employed abroad, especially in the middle east. In spiritual aspect of their lives, they seek guidance of their patron spirit Nuestra Senora de Sto. Rosario and Padre Jesus Nazareno. Every rainy season, the Taguid River, whose waters flow from Lagundi River (Plaridel) and going to Longos (Malolos) and Kapitangan (Paombong) and then to Look 1st is the lowliest area, all the waters are concentrated here, resembling a lake or Look in Tagalog. This is where its name was derived from. In the celebration of its fiesta in honor of Nuestra Sra. Virgin de Sto. Rosario all its residents cooperate and united by their leaders in seeing to it that the fiesta is successful. Today, Look 1st is a stable and prosperous barrio, with concrete roads and is no longer a muddy place or a far distant place because you can easily have access to the barrio and its economic, social and infrastructure development are in constant upward phase.
